Yuma County’s Tacna Water Infrastructure Improvements brought a full new water system online — a raw water pump station, back-up supply well, treatment facility, storage tank, finished water and fire water pump stations, and a hydropneumatic tank — all of which had to be proven to work together before service. Working for Yuma Valley Contractors, CEI provided preliminary and detailed commissioning of the plant integration, developing the test procedures, forms, and checklists used to verify components and equipment and participating in performance testing. The effort confirmed the integrated system functioned properly ahead of handover.
