Production had declined at pumps in a copper mine’s existing mitigation well field, and supplemental pumping was needed to maintain the minimum flow required under the mine’s permit. To restore capacity, two additional mitigation wells were added, and CEI provided the electrical engineering design and construction support. The design included three design packages with electrical and pole-line drawings, and construction support covered submittal reviews and RFI responses.
