The City of Cottonwood’s Riverfront Water Reclamation Facility was assembled largely from packaged systems — headworks, primary treatment, tertiary filters, and support systems — that had to be tied into a single coordinated plant. CEI provided the complete electrical and process instrumentation design, including a new 480VAC service integrated with a new photovoltaic system to power the facility. Instrumentation design delivered a master PLC control system with SCADA oversight and integration of the vendor control equipment. CEI produced a full set of biddable drawings and specifications with supporting single-lines, calculations, and P&IDs, giving the city a solar-powered, centrally controlled facility ready to build.
