Our engineering is led by Principal R. Ben Canfield, P.E. (B.S.E.E., University of Arizona), and the firm carries eight in-house Professional Engineers. CEI is registered in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, plus an NCEES Record on file for expedited licensure in additional states. CEI also fields City of Phoenix–approved Special Inspectors (SI-00638, SI-00744, SI-00748).

Safety & Training
Our team maintains MSHA, arc-flash, and lightning-protection training, with safe practices built into everyday field work. CEI keeps an E-Hazard–certified Arc Flash Trainer on staff and delivers NFPA 70E electrical-safety training to client crews.
